Unbelievable: Steffi Graf shocking announcement on her historic comeback to challenge Serena Williams is causing heat in the Tennis…..

Pickleball dates are one way that Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are making the most of their empty-nester phase! Agassi and Graf, who have been married for 25 years and have children in their 20s, are discovering new hobbies. Agassi stated in an interview with Us Weekly that pickleball had “filled a huge gap in our lives collectively.” They find that pickleball suits them where they are since they are in a “different season of life.” “I mean when this game sort of originally caught on… everybody thinks it’s for old people and then it’s like it’s gotten so much younger so I feel like I can still get better at something, which is really cool.”
“But then to do it with her, it gives us a bonding experience,” Agassi said. In celebration of National Pickleball Month, Agassi held the inaugural Agassi Open Play Day at Life Time Green Valley on Saturday, April 12. Pickleball is more than just Graf. Additionally, over 750 Life Time gyms around the US simultaneously mirrored the event. Agassi clarified, “It’s been growing like an anomaly here in America,” “I don’t know of any sport that has ever covered this kind of territory in such a short period of time.”
Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Life Time Bahram Akradi, Maroon 5 lead musician and pickleball aficionado James Valentine, professional pickleball player Ryan Sherry, and 11-year-old pickleball sensation Jack Lowridge joined Agassi, who also serves as chair of the Life Time Racquet Sports Board.
In addition to playing pickleball, Agassi and Graf enjoy spending time with their respective partners and children—even going on triple dates! “We had a great date night the other night where it was me, Steffi, my son and Catherine, his girlfriend, and Jaz, our daughter, and her boyfriend Parker, and it was like a triple date and we all just went out and sat and talked,” he said. “We feel like peers around them, we respect them, we seek their opinion on things, they’re not hesitant to ask us our perspective on what they’re going through, so it really feels like a healthy season in life.”
Their 23-year-old son Jaden is a standout pitcher for USC, but neither of their kids has become a tennis celebrity like their parents. While pointing out some significant distinctions between baseball and tennis, Agassi stated that he is unsure if their oldest would play professionally. “Team sports, you know, they have to pull you along so he’s still hoping for his dreams and going after it and I respect him tremendously for it so hope the best for him, but he’s clear on what he wants to do,” he stated.
