Breaking news: Cowboys sign a blockbuster deal to land Vikings sensational OL.

The Cowboys are signing a former Vikings offensive lineman.
A former Vikings OL is being signed by the Cowboys.
According to reports, the Dallas Cowboys have added a veteran to strengthen their offensive line as part of their ongoing summer roster improvement efforts.
A Texas native who last played for the Minnesota Vikings is also making a homecoming with the addition.
Source: With 15 career starts, veteran offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji is joining the Cowboys. Jordan Schultz, a FOX Sports expert, stated on X that “he can play both guard and tackle spots.”
Adeniji, who was born in Garland, Texas, has five seasons of NFL experience and has played for three different teams before joining Dallas.
He started to establish himself as a versatile lineman after being chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
After joining their practice squad in 2023, he was promoted to the active roster by the Vikings.
Despite spending the majority of his playing time with Minnesota on special teams, his versatility allowed him to be an asset to the squad.
A knee injury that kept him out of action for the whole previous season ended his most recent stint with the Cleveland Browns.
Adeniji’s flexibility and potential kept him in the NFL’s sights despite the setback.
The Cowboys appear to be intentionally considering rebuilding their offensive line based on the timing of this contract.
Zack Martin’s departure has left a big hole at right guard, thus Adeniji’s versatility as a guard or tackle makes him an especially useful addition.
When training camp begins, he’ll probably face off against fellow rookies Robert Jones and Saahdiq Charles for the starting right guard spot.
