ESPN: Aaron Judge brutally respond to Juan Soto over comments on instagram.

Why Guardians intentionally walked Juan Soto to face Aaron Judge

It was tough to overlook the Juan Soto-sized gap in Aaron Judge’s Instagram recap.

It’s clear that the Pinstripes had a successful season during the one season that Juan Soto and Aaron Judge were teammates with the New York Yankees. Even though the Yankees lost to the Dodgers in the World Series, the slugging tandem helped lead the team to an AL Pennant and raised hopes for what two of baseball’s top hitters may do together in the future.

However, as the duet lasted barely a year, we will obviously never know the answer to that question. Soto will be bound to Queens for the next ten and a half years after agreeing to a horrifying $765 million contract with the crosstown New York Mets. Despite Brian Cashman’s brilliant turnabout to still build a winning team in the Bronx, Yankees fans were and still are resentful of it.

On New Year’s Eve and into New Year’s Day, we finally received a hint that Judge might not be entirely thrilled with Soto’s departure.

Juan Soto Is Still Friends With Aaron Judge Despite Awkward Departure From Yankees

Aaron Judge shares a sour 2024 Instagram recap that is absent. As one might anticipate, Juan Soto Judge shared a summary of his 2024 on Instagram, which included several Yankees colleagues. Judge completely excluded Soto from the photo collage, which is something you wouldn’t anticipate unless the home run hitter was furious about Soto departing in free agency. However, that’s precisely what he did.

Why doesn’t Judge believe that Soto’s exclusion would be noticed right away? If he didn’t want to cause any controversy, that seems like a bad decision on his behalf. However, it’s possible that the Yankees skipper did desire some juice, and his teammates might rally behind it once Soto left them.

That being said, it’s a little weird that Soto isn’t present because Judge’s Instagram picture clearly highlights the Yankees’ World Series success. After all, Soto (together with Giancarlo Stanton) allegedly pulled a struggling postseason Judge to the Fall Classic, something that even the most devoted Bronx Bombers fan cannot dispute.

In addition to hitting four home runs, driving in nine runs, and being one of the top hitters in baseball, Soto led the Yankees in the postseason with a 1.101. Judge, however, did post a little bit above average.752 OPS but did so with a.184 batting average and 20 strikeouts in 49 at-bats, which is the second-highest number among the Yankees in the postseason. You definitely don’t want that.

However, it’s likely time for Judge and Yankees supporters to cut back on their salt intake. As previously said, Cashman has done a fantastic job of moving on from Soto swiftly, signing Max Fried, dealing for Devin Williams, and trading for Cody Bellinger. Although Soto is difficult to replace, it is still feasible to create a successful baseball club in his absence, as has been done.

That being said, Judge’s Instagram summary should have everyone on the edge of their seats for the 2025 season matchup between the Mets and Yankees, especially the Mets’ May 16–18 trip to Yankee Stadium. There may be actual fireworks if the animosity is still present.
