CBS Sports: Josh Allen Explains How the Bills’ Most Recent Action Is “Dangerous”
Sean McDermott’s squad went 10-2 on the season and secured the AFC East with the Buffalo Bills’ 35-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Highmark Stadium. Buffalo has been so dominant this season that they have already secured the division and a postseason berth with five games remaining. However, the task now becomes maintaining the momentum for the next five weeks. There is still a large carrot hanging in front of the Bills as Buffalo battles for the No. 1 spot in the AFC against the Kansas City Chiefs, whom it defeated 30-21 a few weeks ago.
Winning the division so early is special to Josh Allen, who also mentioned that the Bills can play a different style of football now that that is resolved.
Allen said, “It’s a good feeling,” We still have five games remaining in the season, so this one seems a little different. The best part is that there aren’t any actual consequences for what we do, so we can go out there and play freely. However, we are aware that we are pursuing a single seed at the same moment. Going outside and playing loose, unrestrained, and free will be enjoyable. That may be a deadly squad, in my opinion. With the second-best offensive in football (29.6 points per game) and the sixth-best defense (18.7 points per game), the Bills may already be regarded as a “dangerous” club. Since Buffalo is currently playing “free,” that is an intriguing possibility.
Naturally, being the top seed in the AFC is still a significant accomplishment, and winning the AFC championship game through Buffalo would be the icing on the cake for an already outstanding season.
The Bills are aware that their work isn’t done, but they have accomplished their first objective of the season, which is to end the season with the greatest record possible and maybe the top seed. And they might be able to achieve it if they play freely and unrestrained.
