Security It’s doubtful that Justin Simmons will start for the Falcons against the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Due to a hamstring issue, Simmons participated in practice just minimally on Wednesday and Thursday but missed all of Friday’s sessions. He is labeled by the Falcons as unlikely to play in the NFC South clash.

This season, Simmons has started all of the Falcons’ games. He has three passes defensed, 28 tackles, and an interception.

For Atlanta, linebacker Troy Andersen is still sidelined due to a knee injury. Both offensive lineman Ryan Neuzil (knee) and cornerback Antonio Hamilton (back) are rated as doubtful to play this weekend.
