Dynasty Prospect Scouting Report: Seth Williams

Seth Williams, a former Auburn wide receiver, will be practicing with the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday, the NFL team’s official website reports.

Following his Tuesday session with a few other free-agent wide receivers, Williams caught passes and was signed by the Cowboys to their practice squad.

Williams joins Dallas following the wide receiver Brandin Cooks’ injury to his knee last week, which forced the Cowboys to place him on injured reserve.

After being waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 25, Williams has not played football.

After Williams finished his three seasons at Auburn with 132 receptions for 2,214 yards and 17 touchdowns, the Denver Broncos selected him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Despite having a 34-yard reception in his first two games as a rookie with the Broncos, the former star player from Paul Bryant High School has not played in an NFL regular-season game since.

Williams has been a member of the Jaguars practice squad for the previous two seasons.
