After a severe attack from the injury bug, the Dallas Cowboys are already facing depth issues, and things are only about to get worse.

Star EDGE Micah Parsons, All-Pro cornerback DaRon Bland, starting defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, and starting wide receiver Brandin Cooks are all out for Dallas.

On Thursday, the team’s other All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs departed practice with an ankle injury and placed on the injured list.

After a brutal strike from the injury bug, the Dallas Cowboys are already suffering depth difficulties, and things are only about to get worse.

Trevon Diggs, the other All-Pro cornerback on the squad, left practice on Thursday due to an ankle ailment and was placed on the disabled list.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy stated that rookie wide receiver Caelen Carson’s shoulder injury is “coming along slowly.”

On CB Trevon Diggs’ injured ankle, McCarthy said, “Just being smart with Trevon.” I’m not too unhappy with where he is. Everything suggests that he will most likely leave on Sunday night.

That’s not good news, particularly since Carson might miss the game and DaRon Bland is out of the picture.

Dallas’ defensive backfield already lacks depth, so losing Diggs would be disastrous for the secondary heading into their matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Things appear iffy for the time being, so cross your fingers and hope for the best.
