Ben Roethlisberger retires from NFL after 18 seasons with the Pittsburgh  Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger, the former quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, claims that Pittsburgh is “home” to him and that he may even be open to playing for the team in the future. The host of Footbahlin’ regularly attends Steelers games and shares his weekly insights on his podcast. It’s still home to Roethlisberger; he makes the Pittsburgh area his second home.

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show before the Steelers’ Sunday night matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, Roethlisberger talked about how Pittsburgh has treated him well, and that it might even create a place for him in the organization in the future.

Regarding the city, Roethlisberger declared, “We’re not leaving here.” “This is our home, and I will pay attention to it.” And when the time is right, I’d love to get engaged with the Steelers. Whatever that looks like, I don’t know. However, I like being here.

Roethlisberger might decide to become an executive after leaving the game. like John Lynch, general manager of the San Francisco 49ers. John Elway, a legend of the Denver Broncos, oversaw the personnel department for many years and remained an advisor even after he left the team as general manager.
