The Dallas Cowboys don’t seem to be interested in Davante Adams, even though the team lacks depth at wide receiver. The Las Vegas Raiders have received a trade request from Adams. For the 2-2 Raiders this season, he has appeared in three games and has 18 receptions for 209 yards and one score. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Cowboys are one of the clubs who might be interested in Adams.

“The New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys and perhaps the San Francisco 49ers are among teams that either have inquired about the six-time Pro Bowler or are places Adams would be happy landing,” Rapoport stated on Thursday. However, the Cowboys sound like they may be crossed off the list. Despite Adams’s explosive playmaking ability, Dallas does not believe the three-time All-Pro can fit into their current cap situation after giving quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver CeeDee Lamb huge contracts.

“Not at all. During an appearance on San Antonio’s Sports Star on Thursday, Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones stated, “I don’t think there is anything to that.” “CeeDee Lamb, our number one player, just signed with us, and Adams is a top receiver. That would be a long putt for us given the challenges we face in terms of cap.”

The Cowboys are likewise making extensive plans for the future. The next player up for an extension is defensive star Micah Parsons, who might become one of the highest paid non-quarterbacks in the NFL.
