CBS Sports: San Francisco 49ers’ favorite player ruled out of practice due to “Serious” leg injury.
Curtis Robinson, a linebacker with the San Francisco 49ers, had to be carried off the field early on Thursday during team practice.
Robinson was noted as having a knee injury in the 49ers practice report that was released later that day.
Robinson, 26, has only been on special teams in three games this season. In 15 career games with the Denver Broncos (2021) and the Niners (2021–24), he has made 10 tackles.
Better news for the 49ers, who have been beset by injuries: on Thursday, after missing practice the previous day, wide receiver Deebo Samuel (calf), left tackle Trent Williams (sickness), and linebacker Dee Winters (ankle) returned. For the second consecutive day, tight end George Kittle, who missed Week 3 due to a hamstring issue, participated in limited practice.
The 49ers (1-2) host the New England Patriots (1-2) at home on Sunday with a two-game losing streak.
