Breaking: Eagles mega star sends Strong Message to Rest of the NFL After Packers Win.

After losing six of their final seven regular season games in 2023, there was a lot of curiosity about what the Philadelphia Eagles would look like in their season opener. Philadelphia made adjustments to their offensive and defensive coordinators as a result.

Those adjustments seemed really promising in Week 1. In São Paulo, Brazil, the Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-29. Free agency running back Saquon Barkley scored three touchdowns, and standout wide outs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined for 203 yards and another score.

Brown, however, made a daring statement in his postgame interview with NBC sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung, despite his 34 points.

“We must tidy up the small details. Brown addressed Hartung, “But the offense, man, I don’t want to put any expectations on us, but we can be a lot better.” You never know what to expect from guys like Saquon, Jalen, and Jahan.

I’m happy about that. We must continue even though this is just one victory.

Kellen Moore, the new offensive coordinator for the Eagles, had a memorable debut. In addition to the 34 points, his unit gained 410 yards in total, 144 of which were gained on the ground.

The Eagles offense also performed admirably in a situational sense, controlling the ball for 7:25 in the second part of the fourth quarter while the Packers were urgently attempting to regain it and scored touchdowns on three of their first four red zone attempts.

Nothing, though, surpassed Barkley’s debut. Along with his two touchdowns and 109 yards of rushing, he added two receptions for 23 yards and one more score.

Brown remarked, “He did a great job tonight.” Just getting to see it in person thrilled me. I’m looking forward to the season.

Many other Eagles players and fans should be thrilled about it. The supporting group Barkley has with the New York Giants is uncommon. Nevertheless, he managed to surpass 1,000 rushing yards three times in New York.

If he stays healthy, it appears like he may have that kind of year in 2024—possibly even pushing to top his prior career high of 1,312 rushing yards.

Barkley said to Hartung, “I’m just fortunate to have the opportunity.” I’ve been appreciative ever since signing. I had a terrific team of guys to work with, and they really made my job easy today.
