With the five new players added on Thursday, the Miami Dolphins practice squad now has thirteen guys.

On Thursday afternoon, the Miami Dolphins announced the acquisition of four players to the practice squad. Robbie Chosen, the third-ranked quarterback and wide receiver for Miami, is back in South Florida following a cup of coffee with the San Francisco 49ers. Former New York Jets quarterback Tim Boyle is on board.

With the addition of defensive tackle Naquan Jones and wide receiver Dee Eskridge, the practice squad now has 13 guys. Anthony McFarland Jr., a former fourth-round pick, was released by the organization in the interim.

In his five-year career, Boyle, 29, has started five games, including two for the New York Jets in the previous season. With one touchdown, 360 yards, and a 99-yard pick-six by Jevon Holland, he completed 48 of 77 throws.

Over the last three seasons, Eskridge, 27, who was once selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round, has participated in 24 games. In his eight career rushes, he has averaged 9.3 yards and 17 catches for 122 yards and a touchdown. For Seattle, he also returned 17 kickoffs.

Jones, 26, spent time with the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals before starting his fourth season. He has made 36 appearances, recording 3.5 sacks and 62 tackles.
