ESPN: Eagles headcoach give injury update on Eagles favorite CB.

Cooper DeJean activated from Non-Football Injury List

It’s challenging enough to go from the NCAA to the NFL. Novices have a lot on their minds to consider. In the changing room are new teammates. Most of the time, there’s a new city and fan base to get to know. And then there’s the script. Try now to imagine yourself in Cooper DeJean’s shoes. The training camp for the Philadelphia Eagles hasn’t gone as expected.

On July 23, both rookies and veterans from Philadelphia reported to camp. The following day was set aside for the first practice session. Before the game began, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler informed us that DeJean was resting a hamstring injury and would be out for at least three weeks. After a few days, that diagnosis turned out to be rather correct, but excellent news has come ahead of a joint practice session.

At the end of May, the Eagles first made the news that they will be practicing together with the New England Patriots. We are prepared to work now that we have reached our target, over six months later.

The majority of us are prepared to labor, then.

Cooper DeJean was activated from the NFI (Non-Football Injury List), according to a Philly announcement. That being said, he will only take part in individual drills during the combined session. The remainder of the injury report on Tuesday was as follows.

COOPER DEJEAN

Due to a knee injury, Oren Burks was unable to practice and hasn’t done so since the first practice day. Moreover, Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen), Caden Sterns (knee), CJ Gardner-Johnson (shoulder), and Grant Calcaterra (shoulder) did not participate. Mehki Garner (hamstring), Brandon Smith (concussion), and Parris Campbell (groin) were also among the walking wounded, but they all participated albeit in a limited fashion.
