Megan Thee Stallion gets taken by surprise by Angel Reese during her headline Lollapalooza set.
At Lollapalooza on Thursday, August 1, Megan Thee Stallion performed. The star was joined by unexpected guest Angel Reese, who sang live versions of songs like “Savage” and “Mamushi.”
Reese was seen sprinting to Megan in a video that was posted on the WNBA player’s Instagram Story, and the two then gave each other an embrace. “It’s unbelievable,” the Grammy winner cried out. Later, she gave the DJ the cue to play “Where Them Girls At,” a song from her most recent album that copied Kstylis’ club hit “Booty Me Down.”
During the “Hot Girl Summer Tour,” Reese previously teamed up with Megan and GloRilla at the United Center in Chicago.
Earlier in the musician’s performance, Megan addressed criticism directed at her choice to back Kamala Harris in the next presidential contest. The fact that I was popping it for Kamala made them [fake angry]. They may not have heard her, in my opinion. Kamala expressed her desire for a ceasefire. After stating that she was in favor of women’s rights, Kamala added, “Hotties for Harris.”
Megan was revealed as Tyler, The Creator’s backup act after he withdrew from Outside Lands and Lollapalooza in June. “I regret not being able to fulfill a promise I made, as I know how thrilled people were.” In a statement, the Flower Boy artist said, “That is not sexy at all.”
After starting in May, Megan’s “Hot Girl Summer Tour” came to a close with her festival participation. For the American and European legs, respectively, GloRilla and Ms. Banks accompanied her as supporting acts.
Reese, on the other hand, will play with the Chicago Sky on August 15 against the Phoenix Mercury. Her rookie year in the league will come to an end in September when the WNBA season concludes.
