Breaking: USF head coach send a strong warning to Alabama football ahead of the rematch.
Head football coach Alex Golesh of USF wants his players to feel confident going into this season’s games against Miami and Alabama.
The previous season, Golesh and the Bulls gave the Crimson Tide a great fight and came very close to shocking Alabama in Tampa, but the Crimson Tide prevailed 17-3.
The head coach of USF believes that his squad has a chance to make amends when they play Alabama this season.
“South Florida has to be played by Alabama and Miami,” Golesh stated during the media day for the American Athletic Conference. Therefore, I believe it is crucial that we play the best teams we can. I believe it is a major deal for us to play Miami at home. They have to come play in Tampa, like we did it for a long time back in the Big East days. I believe that our trip to Alabama will be really important. They arrived at our home. We had every chance to win that game, but we were unable to do so. We can now go and atone for our sins.
USF will visit Alabama on Saturday, September 7.
