Breaking: Giants favorite legend maybe heading to jail again after been accused of…….
According to court documents, Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor was accused of neglecting to update his address on the state’s sex offender registry in Florida.
After turning himself in to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, the former linebacker for the New York Giants was released without posting bail. On the third-degree felony charge, he entered a not guilty plea, according to court documents. He is being charged with the offense for the second time. He accused a divorce in 2021 of preventing him from informing the authorities of an address change.
In 2011, Taylor entered a guilty plea to misdemeanor charges of sexual misconduct in New York. He was given a six-year probationary sentence and told to register as a sexual offender.
Taylor played for the New York Giants for 13 seasons, helping the team win two Super Bowl victories (1987 and 1991).
