The Steelers and free agents agree on agreements.

The Steelers reached agreements with seven undrafted rookie free agents after the 2025 NFL Draft.

Sebastian Castro, Iowa safety: Castro started 32 of the Hawkeyes’ 53 games. 113 solo tackles were among his 163 total tackles at the end of his career. He recorded five forced fumbles, four interceptions, two sacks, 18 passes defensed, and 14 tackles for a loss.
South Dakota tight end J.J. Galbreath had 45 appearances and hauled in 93 catches for 1,355 yards and 12 touchdowns. During his ten games in 2024, he caught 32 passes for 469 yards and four touchdowns. He received first team All-Conference and Associated Press All-American honors. He was also a Phil Steele All-American on the third team.
Pittsburgh kicker Ben Sauls: Having kicked for the Pitt Panthers since 2020, Sauls is no stranger to the Steelers. With 52 of 64 field goal attempts (81.25%), including a long of 58 yards in 2024, Sauls made 53 appearances. In addition to being the sole kicker chosen for the Pro Football Focus All-America team, Sauls was a Lou Groza semifinalist and SI.com’s second team All-America pick.
Memphis wide receiver Roc Taylor: Taylor made 43 appearances and caught 162 passes for 2,366 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2024, Taylor caught 66 passes for 950 yards and two scores. In 2023, he was selected to the second team All-AAC and caught 69 passes for 1,083 yards and four touchdowns.
DJ Thomas-Jones, a South Alabama fullback: Over the course of three seasons, Thomas-Jones made 36 appearances and caught 69 passes for 610 yards and 11 touchdowns. During his 13 games in 2024, he caught 22 passes for 191 yards and three touchdowns. He played in six games at Ole Miss in 2020, where he started his collegiate career.
Minnesota-Duluth offensive guard Aiden Williams: Williams participated in 40 games throughout the course of four seasons, with the final three years seeing 11 games apiece. Williams helped the club top the league and rank sixth in the NCAA in running offense. He was also selected to the 2023 NSIC All-league second team. In 2022, he was again selected to the All-NSIC second team. Williams hails from Alaska’s Anchorage.
Indiana wide receiver Ke’Shawn Williams: During his time in college, Williams participated in 59 games and started 11 of them. Williams has 1,833 receiving yards out of 2,640 total yards. He participated in 13 games during the 2024 season at Indiana, where he caught 39 passes for 448 yards and five touchdowns. Before moving to Indiana, Williams attended Wake Forest for four seasons.
