Texas – While sitting at a car dealership in Carrollton, a Texas man alleges he was fired at by Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed or his personal assistant.

The 23-year-old Chrisitian Nshimiyimamana filed a lawsuit against the two-time Super Bowl champion, demanding at least $1 million.

Accusation of L’Jarius Sneed shooting
What we know: According to Nshimiyimamana’s complaint, which was filed on February 20, he was inside a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon at One Legacy Motors on December 6 when a Lamborghini Urus drove by and fired multiple rounds.

The SUV was struck by the gunfire, but nobody was hurt.

According to the complaint, Sneed had never met Nshimiyimamana before renting the Lamborghini.

Nshimiyimamana’s lawyer, Levi McCathern, told the Associated Press that the Carrollton Police Department had arrested Sneed and an accomplice for aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.

Additionally, McCathern alleged that following the shooting, Sneed and a woman posing as Sneed’s mother contacted and threatened Nshimiyimamana, requesting that he not cooperate with police or engage legal counsel.

For McCathern, “the proof is there,” the Associated Press said. “Video footage from the dealership shows the vehicle and the individual who shot Christian. We are curious as to why this occurred. Although we are grateful that no one was shot, we are still looking for the cause of this occurrence.
