Mets' Sean Manaea finally set for free agent payday

Manaea started 32 games in his debut season with the Mets, recording a 12-6 record and the lowest ERA in his career after starting more than 25 games. He threw 181 2/3 innings, a career best, walking 63 and striking out 184 hitters. Manaea has a 2-1 record with a 4.74 ERA and 19 strikeouts while making four playoff starts during the Mets’ march to the National League Championship Series.

Manaea inked a three-year, $75 million contract with the Mets in December, indicating that they were impressed with his season with them.
