ESPN: Josh Allen replys Cris Collinsworth with a three-word message on “Sunday Night Football,”
In Week 13, seasoned NFL pundits Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico were in the studio to cover a Buffalo Bills vs. San Francisco 49ers game on “Sunday Night Football.” Collinsworth made an intriguing remark on Bills quarterback Josh Allen during the Week 13 game. In the third quarter, the Buffalo standout produced a spectacular play that led to the MVP candidate’s receiving score.
Near the goal line, Allen found Amari Cooper, a wide receiver for the Bills. Cooper lateraled the ball to Allen after being tackled by two 49ers players, and the Bills quarterback raced in for the score.
Collinsworth, who mentioned that he owns Allen on his fantasy football squad, was delighted about the play. “It didn’t hurt me either,” said Collinsworth. “My fantasy quarterback is Josh Allen. I’m telling the truth; it just appeared. Whatever the other touchdown was, I received a touchdown throw.”
After the game, Allen had a great answer when questioned about Collinsworth’s remarks. “So did I,” answered Allen.
In the end, Allen assisted the Bills in defeating the 49ers 35–10, improving their season record to 10–2. Buffalo’s winning streak presently stands at seven games.
They secured home-field advantage in Week 13 and won the AFC East divisional title. This season, the Bills are presently 6-0 at Highmark Stadium.
Allen completed 13 of 17 ball attempts for 148 yards and two touchdowns at the end of the game. In addition, he added a running touchdown with 18 yards on the ground and a receiving touchdown.
Allen’s Points Per Reception (PPR) score in fantasy football was 28.42 points.
