CBS Sports: Eagles top receiver resumed practice in preparation for the game against the Ravens.
In preparation for Sunday’s game against the Ravens, Eagles top receiver DeVonta Smith resumed practice on Thursday.
The return to practice on Thursday by Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) bodes well for his availability on Sunday. Smith’s participation was limited.
Smith has been battling a hamstring ailment for a few weeks, which kept him out of last week’s game against the Rams. He is heading in the right direction because he was labeled as a non-participant to start the week on Wednesday.
Obviously, Smith’s return versus the Ravens would be a major help.
The complete injury report for Thursday is as follows:
CB did not practice Slay Darius (concussion)
Restricted: CB Kelee Ringo (calf), WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring)
Complete: OLB Josh Sweat (rest), C Cam Jurgens (rest), T Jordan Mailata (rest), T Lane Johnson (rest), G Mekhi Becton (rest), G Landon Dickerson (rest), and RB Saquon Barkley (rest)
Slay’s status for Sunday is uncertain as he has already missed the week’s first two sessions. Veteran Isaiah Rodgers would start on Sunday if Slay is unable to play.
On Thursday, every player who had a rest classification and was designated as limited on Wednesday was a full participant.
