Announcement: Progressive Rock Legend Announce His Comeback With a New Album on His “One Last Time” Tour in North America.
In 2025, Rod Stewart will embark on his “One Last Time” tour in North America. The tour, which has previously toured Europe and Asia, will begin in the United States on March 7 in Austin, Texas, and is scheduled to play 20 gigs in arenas and amphitheaters until August 15. Complete dates are shown below.
Stewart’s special guests on “One Last Time” will be fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick, with whom he performed in 2022.
Although the 79-year-old Stewart has not formally referred to “One Last Time” as a farewell tour, he is undoubtedly acting as though it were. Before concluding his 13-year Las Vegas residency, “Rod Stewart: The Hits,” the singer toured Asia and Europe and released his 33rd studio album, “Swing Fever,” earlier this year. He also collaborated with Jools Holland with his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. From March to June 2025, he will make a comeback to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace with “The Encore Shows,” which will include his greatest songs along with surprises from the songbook, swing, deep cuts, and new production elements. Earlier this year, he also sold his music portfolio to Irving Azoff’s Iconic Artists for around $100 million.
Tickets for the “One Last Time” presale will be available to Rod Stewart Fan Club members starting Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. on RodStewart.com. Before the public on-sale, which starts on Nov. 22 at 10 a.m., there will be other presales held during the week. Rod Stewart’s Encore Tour uses Citi as its official card.
Through the Citi Entertainment program, Citi cardholders will be able to purchase presale tickets starting on November 19 at 10 a.m. and ending on Thursday, November 21 at 10 p.m.; for more information, visit www.citientertainment.com. The presales will end at 10 p.m. on Thursday, November 21 and are all in local time.
In addition to co-founders Rick Nielsen (lead guitar) and Tom Petersson (bass guitar), as well as drummer Daxx Nielsen, Cheap Trick is commemorating its 50th anniversary with Robin Zander as the lead singer. The band’s most recent album, “On the Run,” came out last year, and songs like “Surrender,” “Dream Police,” and “I Want You to Want Me” are all part of their live repertoire.
