Vic Fangio, the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, has never minced words regarding defensive end Brandon Graham. Despite his earlier remarks that 2024 would be his final season as a football player, the Eagle with the longest stay in team history shouldn’t put up his boots. Many current and past players on the roster have expressed their opinions about Graham’s career after the veteran suffered a disheartening torn triceps injury during Philadelphia’s 37-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams, which kept him out of action for the rest of the season.

The defensive play-caller had a different message for Graham in the Fangio case on Wednesday. “He can’t retire on an incomplete year,” Fangio stated.

Apart from the fact that Graham has been a fan favorite for decades, the fact that the 36-year-old edge rusher has been playing outstanding football in recent weeks was perhaps the most difficult aspect of his injury.

Graham made two tackles for loss, a sack, three quarterback hits, and even a pass deflected in Philadelphia’s victory over the Rams. All night long, he was Philadelphia’s finest defensive player.

The former Michigan first-round selection has publicly admitted that a decision about his future has not yet been made. The veteran may decide to return for a 16th season if the Eagles can succeed without him. In any event, Fangio is anticipated to rejoin the team for the upcoming campaign, and it’s obvious that he believes Graham has a lot of potential remaining.
