The manager of the Yankees acknowledged the undisputed MVP.

In response to Aaron Judge’s second American League MVP award, Yankees manager Aaron Boone released a statement. The Yankees outfielder had yet another outstanding season in the Bronx, finishing third in the AL in hitting average and first in MLB in home runs and runs batted in. The captain of New York won just the second unanimous MVP in Yankees history with this amazing feat. For the first time since 2009, Judge assisted the illustrious organization in making it to the World Series.

In a moving speech, Boone, who has managed Judge for seven years, awarded the Yankees’ best player his roses. MLB.com The remark on X was disclosed by MLB Network Insider and Senior National Reporter Mark Feinsand.

“I am really happy for Aaron, such a wonderful guy and leader, and I want to congratulate him on receiving this prestigious accolade. I couldn’t imagine a guy having a greater and more complete baseball season after witnessing firsthand his 2022 MVP performance. But in 2024, he achieved precisely that. I consider myself really fortunate to be able to oversee Aaron, and I’m excited to see him further solidify his reputation as one of the greatest of this generation.

Aaron Judge has had a storied career with the Yankees.

Aaron Judge hit 50 or more home runs in 2024 for the third consecutive year. In important metrics like batting average, runs batted in, and wins above replacement, the Yankee slugger set career highs. Judge led the Yankees to the best AL record during the season, making history in his 158 games of activity. But even with New York’s October success, the team’s star player had a rough time. With three home runs and nine RBIs in the 14 games, Judge’s batting average was.184.

Under Aaron Boone, the Yankees won the pennant for the first time, although they ultimately lost the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Judge recorded four hits, one home run, three RBIs, and a.222 batting average in five games during his debut World Series. For the first time in a long time, the six-time All-Star had guided the team back to a familiar location, despite this heartbreaking setback. The Yankees will have to decide if their run from the previous season was a fluke or if they can keep getting closer to winning the 28th title.

All things considered, Aaron Judge has already established himself as one of this generation’s best players. The two-time MVP is virtually certain to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame according to his honors. Judge’s CV is lacking just one accomplishment.
