Cowboys' Jerry Jones returns to radio show 'surprised' by attention received last week

This past week, Jerry Jones made some perplexing remarks that caused several fans and pundits to express alarm. Jerry has been making odd remarks in the media every week while the Dallas Cowboys are having a forgettable season.

The majority of supporters have held Jones accountable for the team’s performance, and he is well-deserving of the blame. However, following certain recent remarks, many people started to worry about Jones’ mental health. He listened to the concerns and gave the quintessential Jerry response.

Jerry Jones Addresses Mental Health Concerns

It all began when Stephen A. Smith of ESPN expressed his worries about Jones’ mental health. Smith is one of the biggest Cowboys haters, as everyone knows, but following their most recent defeat, he had a different message to convey. He even went so far as to liken President Biden to the owner of the Cowboys:

I’m starting to worry a lot about Jerry Jones. On ESPN’s “First Take” this week, Smith stated, “I find myself thinking about Joe Biden before he backed out of running for reelection.”

For heaven’s sake, I believe Jerry is a month older than President Joe Biden.Where on earth are his relatives?

Jones must have heard this from Smith, and he humorously dismissed the worries while also criticizing Smith:

I’m grinning because Stephen A. is a positive fraud. The longtime proprietor declared, “We are friends.”

And everyone he mentioned in that call about stepping in is giving me a ton of support, advice, and assistance. However, I would say that I hope he would have followed me about every day if he had asked me that question in relation to the problem or the critique that Biden had over his capacity to operate. He would also notice that I’m busier than I’ve ever been.

Jones continued by saying:

“The ability to complete the task at hand is not a concern of mine.”

“Stephen A. and it would be wonderful if he could spend a day with us, making the rounds, listening to me answer calls, and doing the things we do without worrying about me. I do value his concern, though. It’s real, by the way,” Jones added.

Jones is undoubtedly nearing the end of his time as the primary leader of the most well-known organization in the world, regardless of whether he can still lead this team. Jones is the primary decision-maker for the Cowboys, who will have a lot of work to do this offseason.
