CBS Sport: Bills star player sustained “Serious” Injury during game against Dolphins.
After injuring his pectoral during the team’s 31-10 victory in Miami on Thursday night, Terrel Bernard, a linebacker for the Buffalo Bills, appeared to injure himself while making a tackle but stayed in for one more play before heading to the medical tent. A league source estimates that Bernard will miss approximately a month due to this injury.
In the end, his status was reduced to out.
Defense tackle DaQuan Jones suffered a pectoral injury in Week 17 of the previous season, missing 11 weeks.
Against the Dolphins, linebacker Baylon Spector filled in for Bernard and is most likely going to be the short-term substitute. With 10 tackles throughout the game, Spector matched for the team lead for the Bills.
