ESPN Report: The Lions Favorite to Land Philadelphia Eagles Sensational Star in a Blockbuster Deal.

For some reason, the Lions should have been involved in the trade for Haason Reddick.

Something that was an issue for the entire previous season is not resolved by one game. However, Matthew Stafford was under a lot of pressure from the Detroit Lions’ pass rush in Week 1’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Aidan Hutchinson wasn’t the only one who completed the task; Marcus Davenport and Levi Onwuzurike also had enjoyable adventures.

Going forward, Davenport needs to maintain his health and demonstrate that he can be a reliable opponent for Hutchinson. If he does, the Lions’ issue from the previous season with edge rushers who weren’t Hutchison will essentially be resolved. General manager Brad Holmes won’t have time to do nothing before the trade deadline if he can’t live up to expectations or continue playing.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ early-season rumor that Haason Reddick was seeking a trade made the Lions seem like a plausible contender. The New York Jets moved to sign him, but after a disastrous trade in which they refused to offer him the contract he desired, they haven’t seen him in a game or on the practice field as of yet.

Reddick is now a headache that many other clubs, including the Lions, won’t take on because of all that has transpired between him and the Jets. He’s not in “football shape” at this time either.

Once more, the Lions announced a potential trade partner for Haason Reddick.
On Kristopher Knox’s Week 2 Trade Block Big Board from Bleacher Report, Reddick is ranked #1. The Arizona Cardinals and the Lions are Knox’s two possible suitors for Reddick.
