The Philadelphia Eagles entered the 2024 NFL season having made some significant offseason adjustments in an attempt to turn things around following a disastrous 2023 campaign that left the team exposed in a number of ways.

Luckily, Philadelphia appeared to have upgraded the roster and prepared for a successful season in 2024 by making all the correct decisions during the NFL offseason, particularly with the arrival of star running back Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles have a gifted young quarterback in Jalen Hurts, one of the greatest receiving corps in the league led by AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, and they signed one of the top running backs in the league to improve their ground attack.

Despite having one of the top receiver groups in the NFL, the Eagles, like every other team in the league, are constantly seeking to get better. To kick off the 2024 season, the team decided to make a move on Tuesday after an outstanding victory over the Green Bay Packers the previous week.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles have recruited Danny Gray, a former wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, to their practice squad.

The Eagles appear to be well on their way to having another successful year under coach Clint Hurts after they played a strong offensive game in their season opener against the Packers in Brazil on Thursday.

The Eagles appear to be a stronger team overall this season, however it will take time to see if they can maintain their current level of performance on a weekly basis.
