Ja'Marr Chase - Wikipedia

Ja’Marr Chase, a wide receiver with the Cincinnati Bengals, went back to the practice field on Wednesday. Videos of Chase walking with fellow wideout Tee Higgins while wearing practice attire and carrying his helmet were uploaded online by observers.

Zac Taylor, the head coach, was questioned earlier on Wednesday about Chase’s participation. Let’s see,” Taylor remarked. No information was provided regarding Chase’s involvement.

While the Bengals were getting ready to play the New England Patriots in Sunday’s season opener, Chase, 24, was listed as day-to-day earlier this week.

Ja'Marr Chase returns to Bengals practice despite unresolved contract negotiation

The impasse over Chase’s contract, which has prevented him from playing during training camp and the preseason, did not appear to be resolved.

According to ESPN, contract negotiations are still under progress and Chase also attended a team meeting.

Like his old LSU teammate Justin Jefferson, who revolutionized the market with a four-year, $140 million contract ($35 million per season) that surpassed Eagles wideout A.J. Brown’s $32 million annual salary, Chase is looking for a contract extension.

In order to end CeeDee Lamb’s offseason holdout, the Cowboys last month paid him his asking price of four years, $136 million with $100 million guaranteed. Amon-Ra St. Brown also signed a four-year deal at $30.002 million per year with the Lions.
