Dallas Cowboys news: CeeDee Lamb keeps grinding as negotiations continue - Blogging The Boys

The NFL preseason saw CeeDee Lamb, a star wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, extend his boycott, but team owner Jerry Jones is still dismissive of the discussion.

Star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has been out of the lineup for the Dallas Cowboys for a while, but the preseason is done.

Lamb is still waiting for a new deal that will compensate him for his exceptional pass-catching abilities. But there hasn’t been any pressure from the Cowboys front management to close a deal.

When questioned about contract talks with Lamb after the Cowboys’ preseason finale loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, owner Jerry Jones declined to comment.

Jones has already shown disdain for concluding a deal with Lamb.

When Jones stated at the beginning of the month that there wasn’t a rush to complete a deal with the team’s All-Pro wide receiver, Lamb took to social media to respond.

Lamb removed the Dallas Cowboys from his social media bios following the exchange.

Everything has been whirlwind after then. Further progress in contract negotiations is imperative if the organization hopes to have Lamb on the field for Week 1’s game against the Cleveland Browns, as the regular season draws near.

The Cowboys offense and Dak Prescott will suffer if Jones keeps acting in such a careless manner.

Jerry, you have to get to work because time is running out.

Dallas’ 2024 campaign will begin on Sunday, September 8, when it travels to play the Cleveland Browns. For the game on FOX, Tom Brady will be hosting his first-ever broadcast.
