ESPN: Former NFL Legend names two teams as the Chiefs’ biggest AFC rivals.
One question appears to be on the minds of both fans and pundits as the 2024 NFL season approaches.
Is there anyone who can defeat the Kansas City Chiefs?
The Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl, where they were able to win both games despite uncertainties surrounding the franchise entering the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Given that their defense has improved and they have one of the greatest quarterbacks in the game in Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs are well-positioned to win again.
Even though the Chiefs are a formidable team, Tom Brady and Stephen A. Smith recently discussed the two AFC teams that might pose a challenge to them.
As per Brady, “I believe it’s still the Bills and the Bengals due to the quarterback play.”
Although he acknowledged the Baltimore Ravens as another excellent AFC team, he also pointed out that they had a less than ideal postseason record.
The Ravens’ postseason results in recent years haven’t exactly instilled confidence, despite their abundance of talented players.
Great quarterbacks Josh Allen and Joe Burrow both play for the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, and both teams have demonstrated remarkable composure under duress.
The Bengals have failed to win in the last two seasons, after making it to the Super Bowl in 2021.
Ultimately, the Chiefs have been too good and have eventually dominated the AFC South.
Is this the year they fall short?
