The four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets are aware that 2024 will be crucial to the team’s short-term future. Rodgers himself stated earlier in the offseason that the squad may see some significant adjustments the next season if he and everyone else’s expectations are not met. This can mean that he needs to look for work elsewhere.

Since many in the media have expressed negative things about the future Pro Football Hall of Famer and the way he treats coaches and teammates, Rodgers and the Jets have undoubtedly been among the most talked about teams of the NFL offseason.

However, one recent addition to the NFL media is very interested in seeing what Rodgers can do this season.

Tom Brady is eager to see what quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets will accomplish.

Former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady recently stated about Rodgers, per Sports Illustrated’s Evan Massey,

“I’m really looking forward to what he’s going to do here as we approach the season. I believe that having those injuries has helped you to see things in a different light, and I want to see the fire he has when he takes the field. and the way he [selects] to guide the group this season. For Jets supporters, therefore, this year will be exciting.

Naturally, Brady and Rodgers were rivals in the past; the two didn’t really compete against one another very often. But because they are regarded as two of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, he has a unique perspective on the upcoming season that other commentators are unable to match.

Naturally, it is anticipated that Rodgers and the Jets will contend for a postseason berth. Since 2010, when Rodgers won his lone Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers, New York has missed out on postseason play.

In his third season as the primary quarterback for the Packers, Rodgers looked to be headed for several championships at the time. But despite multiple trips to the NFC Championship Game—the most recent one being against Brady and the Buccaneers—Green Bay never returned to the Super Bowl.

Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion, earned three of his rings beyond his 40th birthday. While Rodgers and the Jets would both dearly love to experience a little of Brady’s late-career success, they will never be able to match his ring total.
