Malik Nabers spoke out strongly about his ankle injury on Tuesday.

Nabers was hurt in his ankle during Sunday’s New York Giants practice. Despite not practicing on Tuesday, the rookie wide receiver told reporters that his ailment won’t prevent him from playing when the season starts.

According to Nabers, he has no pain in his ankle and will “no doubt” be prepared by Week 1.

The Giants selected Nabers, an LSU product, with the sixth overall pick in the draft. As a junior last autumn, the 6-foot-1 receiver had an incredible season, hauling in 89 passes for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns.
