The Philadelphia Eagles want to exact revenge for the season they had in 2023. The Eagles endured a dismal second half of the season after emerging as the league’s hottest team at the beginning of the season with a 10-1 record. They were ousted in the first round of the playoffs after finishing 11-6 overall.
The Eagles signed great running back Saquon Barkley as one of many moves they made to improve during the 2024 off-season.
Another free agent, though, made the decision to accept a lower salary in order to play for a title with Philadelphia.
It Cost Less for a Free Agent to Sign With the Philadelphia Eagles
Linebacker Devin White had some excellent play during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2020 Super Bowl run, but their relationship has been tumultuous ever since, and it ended this off-season.
After holding out during camp and requesting a trade the previous offseason, White finally agreed to sign a four-year, $4 million contract with the Eagles after Buccaneers linebacker KJ Britt began reducing his snap total. Eagles Today of Sports Illustrated reports that White referred to the encounter as humble and that he might be better suited moving away from Tampa Bay.
But according to a recent interview, he chose the Philadelphia Eagles with less money:
