Injury Report: Eagles key player ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury…….
After blowing up in the 2024 NFL Playoffs, the Philadelphia Eagles will be trying to show that they are still worthy of being considered a Super Bowl contender.
Despite losing seasoned veterans Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox, the Eagles still boast a strong squad on both sides of the ball for the 2024 NFL season.
It will be interesting to see how Philadelphia sets up their current group in the trenches without two of their pillars.
A strong offensive line has been the foundation of the Eagles’ offensive success for the most of their history, and this next season should be no different.
But according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Tyler Steen’s ankle ailment sustained during training camp is already hurting the o-line.
“OL Tyler Steen may miss the next few days of training camp due to a minor ankle injury he sustained yesterday during #Eagles practice, according to an NFL source.” Steen departed practice early on Saturday. He has so far been the starting right guard for the team. The position is regarded as open. When Steen left, Darian Kinnard took over, according to McLane.
Steen made his first NFL start against the Dallas Cowboys last season after being selected by the Eagles in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
As of right now, it appears that Steen escaped anything major, and once he heals from his ankle injury, he ought to start receiving first-team reps again.
Philadelphia’s offensive line will carry the team as far as possible, and Steen is expected to play a significant role in the team’s success when the 2024 season begins.
