According to rumors, the University of Alabama intends to rename its football field in honor of Nick Saban, adding yet another significant method to celebrate his legacy.

Over the course of his 26-year coaching career, the 72-year-old achieved 292 wins as a head coach, ranking sixth in FBS history and 12th overall in college football history, regardless of division.

Having Saban’s name on the field is a suitable tribute for the man who guided the Crimson Tide to six national titles, even though the university already has a statue of him on the Walk of Champions.
