Daniel Jones (American football) - Wikipedia

There are a lot of unknowns surrounding the New York Giants heading into the 2024 NFL season. Is Daniel Jones going to be the quarterback the team paid him to be in the end?

Jones collapsed in 2023, following the signing of a hefty four-year, $160 million contract. Due to an ACL tear, he was limited to just six games, but when he did play, he did not look well.

The New York Giants declined to sign a new quarterback during the NFL offseason, despite the expectations of many. They chose to use Jones at the center and run it back for an additional year.

In advance of the forthcoming season, Jones has now created an astonishing list.

QB Daniel Jones of the New York Giants Creates a Startling List for the 2024 Season
Before the 2024 NFL season begins, Jones has put together an interesting list.

For Fantasy Football reasons, Jones is a sleeper quarterback according to Pro Football Focus. Naturally, that implies that he is a sleeper quarterback who will also have a successful season in the real world.

Jones completed 67.5 percent of his pass attempts for 909 yards, two touchdowns, and six interceptions in the six games he played the previous season. The task at hand cannot be completed with such numbers.

He had a far better season in 2022. Throughout 16 games, Jones completed 3205 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions on 67.2 percent of his passes. In addition, he gained 708 yards and seven touchdowns through ground play.

I hope this list becomes a reality. It’s obvious that the team still has faith in Jones’ ability to improve his career.

The New York Giants will have an opportunity to contend if he is successful. In 2024, Jones is the team’s biggest X-Factor. In addition, he will be competing for his chance to start in the NFL as a quarterback.

Having said all of that, Jones is going to have a make-or-break season. He could remain the Giants’ starting pitcher if he can perform well. If he struggles once more, he will probably be leaving the city.
