A few players may be traded by the New York Giants prior to the 2024 season commencing. This week’s big event for Giants supporters is Tuesday night’s premiere of Hard Knocks, the offseason version. This offseason, New York made further roster adjustments.

Through the NFL Draft, they hope to assemble this club. Finding talent in the NFL Draft was one of the things the New York Giants struggled with before Joe Schoen was appointed general manager.

They had a 6-11 record at the end of the previous season and missed the playoffs. We’ll see if the New York Giants’ situation improves this season.

Giants have no plans to trade WR Darius Slayton - Yahoo Sports

Before training camp begins, according to Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox, the New York Giants may trade Darius Slayton.

The Giants begin training camp in a few weeks. Darius Slayton is currently listed as the first wide receiver on the roster. Wan’Dale Robinson and Malik Nabers will be the other starters.

We are about to enter Slayton’s last year under contract. Darius Slayton withdrew from offseason practices for a spell during this summer, but his absence from training camp won’t cause any problems.

Before training camp begins, according to Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox, the New York Giants may trade wide receiver Darius Slayton. Knox stated:

“Business is business, and moving Slayton might be beneficial for the company if New York begins to pursue cap dollars.” By doing this, 2024 cap space would be reduced by $3.4 million.

Without Slayton, New York could have a competitive receiving corps that included Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson, Isaiah McKenzie, Allen Robinson II, Isaiah Hodgins, and Jalin Hyatt.

In the event that the Giants traded Slayton, Hyatt would advance to the first unit. Darius Slayton caught 50 passes for 770 receiving yards and four touchdowns in the previous season. He was targeted 79 times and averaged 15.4 yards per grab.

For quarterback Daniel Jones, a receiving core that included Jalin Hyatt, Malik Nabers, and Wan’Dale Robinson would be extremely potent. This season, Allen Robinson might not even be in the Giants starting lineup. Darius Slayton might be traded before the NFL trade deadline, even if the New York Giants decide not to deal him before training camp.
