Former Sixers center Mo Bamba joining Clippers on a one-year deal

The Los Angeles Clippers are not done playing.

In order to make up for Paul George’s departure to the Philadelphia 76ers, they have added some rather intriguing players.

After Kevin Porter Jr. missed a season due to legal issues, Steve Ballmer’s squad welcomed him back to the league along with Derrick Jones Jr. and Nicolas Batum.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Mo Bamba has also been signed to a one-year contract.

With their players, the Clippers and Sixers are essentially playing musical chairs.

Bamba has fallen short of the high expectations placed on him to be among the top big men in the league.

His length and defensive prowess made him an intriguing and exciting prospect as a rim protector. He was said to have the ability to shoot from beyond the court.

Even yet, he has contributed significantly to his team’s minutes off the bench over the last two years, even though he may never become a star.

He’s a reliable rim runner who can hold his own as a defender and will always pose a threat when it comes to lobs.

The Clippers are a major mystery going into the next season since they could deal Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard’s health is still unknown.

They might also be forgotten as one of the teams to beat in the Western Conference, with an aging James Harden remaining in the same spot and probably contributing more to their offense.
