ESPN news: Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day sacked two more staffs in connection to a Staff Member Who Left for Michigan
This week, Ohio State made headlines when Director of On-Campus Recruiting Erin Dunston announced her decision to quit the program and join Michigan, its bitter rivals. The Buckeyes lost another key employee to their fiercest foe after witnessing running back coach Tony Alford take a similar action earlier in the offseason. A persistent online rumor, supported by a few reliable sources, claimed that Ryan Day had gotten upset with Dunston for moving to Michigan.
As Rumor Has It Ryan Day Was Disappointed That Dunston Left Ohio State
According to a chat thread on the 247sports insider website this week, Ryan Day was devastated by Dunston’s departure and it broke his heart. According to several phone calls that Sam Webb from Michigan Insider received, Day allegedly threw her out and had her hauled out of the building.
On his Menace 2 Sports podcast, former Ohio State wide receiver coach Zach Smith said he overheard Day swearing at Dunston.
