Running back James Conner has been a constant in the Arizona Cardinals organization over the last few years, despite all of the changes.

And it’s easy to understand why.

In the locker room, Conner has been the loudest voice.

Look no further than No. 6 if you ever need a reminder of the mentality that head coach Jonathan Gannon is looking for in a player.

Conner shouldn’t have any trouble landing his next deal in Arizona or elsewhere if he can match or surpass his 2023 performance, which included 208 carries for a career-high 1,040 yards and seven touchdowns.

Conner made the most of his few opportunities, hauling in 27 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns, but the Cardinals intend to use him more as a pass-catcher in 2024.
