Brea is undoubtedly confident.

I’m sure a lot of BBN fans believed that the upcoming season could be difficult after John Calipari said he was moving to Arkansas. But behind former BYU head coach Mark Pope, the Kentucky Wildcats completed the roster rather nicely for the upcoming campaign.

Pope, who as a player won an NCAA Championship with the Cats, has a bunch that is incredibly skilled and undoubtedly seasoned. Most of the new players to Kentucky’s squad are transfers.

Among them is former Dayton great Koby Brea, who has high expectations for this club and claims they are aiming for No. 9. This occurs just hours after former Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year Jaxson Robinson announced his switch to Kentucky and withdrew from the NBA Draft.

Brea, who attended Dayton for his four years of college, averaged 6.1 3-pointers per game last year and made 49.8% of them. He is a sniper and ought to be a valuable addition to Pope’s equipment.

Expect big things from Kentucky in Pope’s first season as head coach, as a number of elite transfers, many of whom are capable of long-range shooting and strong defense, join the team.
