Bump Pool, a former linebacker for Arkansas, has settled into the professional ranks. Pool was signed by the UFL’s Michigan Panthers with two weeks remaining in the regular season. In 2023, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers, but later in August, he was waived.

Pool developed into one of the program’s top LBs while a Razorback. Twice during his collegiate career—in 2020 and 2021—he broke Tony Bua’s record for career tackles and cracked the century mark. Pool would have done it again in 2022, missing eight tackles, if not for a hip problem. In addition to 19 pass deflections, he racked up 174 solo tackles, 27.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks.

Michigan already secured a berth in the USFL conference final. The game airs on ESPN Xtra on June 8 at 3:00 p.m. For the UFL championship, the victor will take on the XFL champion on June 16 at 5:00 p.m. on Fox.
