Tank Dell, a wide receiver for the Houston Texans, is back in the saddle.
It never seemed so simple to recover from wounds including bullet wounds.
Tank Dell, a rookie wide receiver in his first season, had the most thrilling run of games in Houston for a rookie pass catcher since Will Fuller V. last season. Sadly, Dell’s thrilling season came to an end when he suffered a broken leg against the Denver Broncos in week 13.
Dell caught 47 catches for 709 yards after 11 games, including 8 starts, with a ridiculous 15.1 yard per catch average and 7 touchdowns. With an average of 4.6 yards per carry, he added an additional 51 yards on 11 runs.
When the second tragedy occurred, Dell was well on his way to full recovery, although some people are never the same after suffering a broken fibula. When a young receiver named Dell was hit by a bullet fired by a mass shooter last month, he was unlucky to be there.
Approximately one month later, Dell is lighting up the Texans headquarters practice field.
Dell is putting in the effort required to assist in improving the Texans offense once more in 2024, eager to build on the success of the previous season.
He wasn’t only among the NFL’s top rookie receivers the previous season; he was among the finest receivers in the league overall.
I’m not sure what special sauce Dell is consuming, but if the Texans can replicate his recuperation abilities throughout the entire team, they may have discovered the cure for injuries.
Furthermore, quarterback C.J. Stroud will have an abundance of weapons than any opposing defense could ever expect to neutralize with a healthy Dell in the lineup.
Dell will surpass the 1000-yard mark in week 16 if he can play in all 17 games in 2024, according to last season’s records. Considering that Dalton Schultz, Nico Collins, and Stefan Diggs are also catching passes, it should be easy for Stroud to pass for more than 5,000 yards this season.
A wonderful moment to be a Texans supporter! Prepare for some off-field and on-field fireworks.

Where is C.J. Stroud of the Texans ranked among quarterbacks by PFF?
After defying expectations in his debut season, C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans is a standout quarterback; is he currently ranked in the top 10?
In advance of the 2024 season, Pro Football Focus released its yearly quarterback rankings on Wednesday. Stroud came in at number ten.
“Cracking the top 10 after just one season may seem like a reach for Stroud, but man, his rookie year was impressive,” PFF’s Trevor Sikkema wrote. “His yards, touchdowns and big-time throw numbers all placed in the top half of the league, and he had some clutch moments and drives that were well beyond his years.”
The 2023 NFL Draft’s second overall selection, Stroud, led the Texans to their first postseason victory since 2019 and was named Offensive Rookie of the Year. Along with displaying exceptional arm strength, the 22-year-old recorded the third-most completions of 20 yards or more in the league (32 in 15 games), according to Sikkema.
In OTAs, Stroud has produced highlight-reel plays. A video of Stroud throwing a no-look ball to wide receiver Robert Woods was released by the Texans on Tuesday.
