NFL schedule release: Which home game for the Giants that isn’t against the East are you most excited about?

I have a question for you, New York Giants supporters, as we wait for the whole announcement of the 2024 NFL schedule on Wednesday night and the constant stream of leaks that will provide us with knowledge of the calendar well in advance of its official release.

Which of the Giants’ six home games against teams outside the NFC East are you most excited about? Cast your vote in the poll and inform us.

I can tell which one interests me the most, and it’s not even close. When it plays, the game against the Minnesota Vikings is what I am most interested in seeing.

Why? It’s the J.J. McCarthy-Sam Darnold match.

The opportunity to observe McCarthy and assess his development as an NFL quarterback would allow us to assess the quarterback that the Giants may have selected at No. 6 overall. Does he have the appearance of a player who will eventually become a starting quarterback for a team? Does he falter and give Giants general manager Joe Schoen a pass for passing on him? Does he still start for the Vikings?

Brian Daboll

The former No. 3 overall pick by the New York Jets in 2018 Darnold will be looking to bounce back from a terrible start to his career in New York and prove to someone that he can start in the NFL if McCarthy is not on the field. Especially considering that Darnold might have been a Giant in that round, it is always entertaining.

Now go ahead and vote.

These are New York’s rivals for 2024:

The teams Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Cincinnati Bengals, and Minnesota Vikings

the away

This season, the Giants will commemorate their 100th anniversary, and they have a rich history that includes 18 years of play at Yankee Stadium.

According to the New York Post, the Giants and Yankees will host Giants 100th Season Day at Yankee Stadium on August 4 as part of their season-long celebrations.

The first 18,000 fans in attendance will receive a bobblehead of the iconic Giants quarterback in pinstripes, Eli Manning, who will also throw out the first pitch.

Both the 1956 NFL championship trophy, which was won at Yankee Stadium, and a Super Bowl trophy are expected to be on display at the game, according to the Post.

Giants players will have a commemorative 100th anniversary patch on the left side of their jerseys this season. The patch’s border is fashioned like the Polo Grounds.

The Post was informed by Giants owner John Mara that “it’s something we’re excited about.” We’re proud that our franchise has lasted a century, something not many others have done. And the fact that we currently have this fan base—I hear from third-generation fans, and now we have fourth-generation fans and ticket holders—is something truly special; there aren’t many franchises like that, and we’re fortunate to be one of them.
