ESPN news: It is foolishness to blame Tom Thibodeau, Josh Hart speaks on injury claim.

Josh Hart has been a Knick for 10 seconds and he's already shouting “this is our f—cking city!” at the Nets | This is the Loop | GolfDigest.com

Josh Hart of the New York Knicks defended head coach Tom Thibodeau against claims that the team is getting injured as a result of his methods.

The player for the New York Knicks, Josh Hart, stood up for his coach, Tom Thibodeau, when rumors started spreading that the team’s drills were injuring players.

“People adore having a story or a label. They adore chasing after it. “There are no guys here to watch us practice,” Hart remarked. “I am currently in my eighth year of employment. By the years, I had [the most] off days, I think. “Everyone believes that we practice scrimmaging for three hours,” he made a joke.

“The athlete shot back, saying it’s stupid to blame him for that. “He is not going to address it in any way. People will ultimately say things in order to get clicks. They’re going to say things that will give them the impression that they have betrayed him.”

“If they’re not in this building or in this locker room, whatever they say, it doesn’t mean anything,” he said.

The Knicks have struggled due to player injuries even though they have had a respectable postseason run thus far.

Julius Randle hasn’t been seen since the beginning of April, to start. Bojan Bogdanovic and Mitchell Robinson are gone for the season after their respective performances in the first round of the playoffs.

Furthermore, the Knicks do not anticipate OG Anunoby to return until Game 5 after missing Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers. Jalen Brunson also sustained a slight injury during this period, but he recovered and didn’t miss any games.

The Knicks-Pacers series is now tied 2-2. Next up is a game on May 15.

Mikal Bridges with the “Nova Knicks” is reunited in Bill Simmons’ three-team trade proposal.

Mikal Bridges takes blame for Nets' sweep: 'letting my team down'

Former Kentucky Wildcats were assembled by the New York Knicks, and now they have Villanova players.

Even missing four crucial players, including three-time All-Star forward Julius Randle, the experienced combination of Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo, the previous national champs at Villanova, is driving the struggling Knicks deep into the postseason.

Bill Simmons of The Ringer has proposed a three-team trade that would finalize the “Nova Knicks trading Randle for Mikal Bridges of the Brooklyn Nets.” However, considering the Nets haven’t traded with the Knicks since moving to Brooklyn from New Jersey, a straight-up deal seems improbable. They did not trade in 1983.

Simmons suggests a three-team deal incorporating the Atlanta Hawks, whose general manager Landry Fields was a former Knicks player, to break down the wall separating the Manhattan and Brooklyn boroughs.

The Hawks have the opportunity to rebuild around the No. 1 pick now that they have won the lottery.

Is there a chance for Bridges to join the Knicks, Trae Young to move to Brooklyn, and then Randle and Picks to join the Hawks? Alternatively, there exists a solution that makes everyone content, which brings up the second query, Simmons stated on his podcast, “Bill Simmons,” on May 14.

Even so, are we certain the Knicks want to deal Randle? Do they reflect on the playoffs and think to themselves, “Man, we could have made the [NBA] Finals if we had Randle”? However, I believe that they like Randle better than most. However, I simply thought Bridges and the Villanova [Knicks] were a good idea.

With Randle, Brunson, and OG Anunoby in the starting lineup, the Knicks finished January 12-2.

Speculating on Julius Randle’s Prospects Following Serious Injuries
Randle is sidelined for the second straight postseason. Even though he made every effort to avoid having to have season-ending surgery to fix his dislocated shoulder, he was unable to participate this time.

The Knicks, with their trio from Villanova leading them, advanced to the second round of the NBA Playoffs without Randle. This summer, if the Knicks want to carry on their upward trajectory without Randle, they must answer a crucial question.

This summer, Randle will be eligible for a four-year, maximum deal worth $190 million. Randle will enter the third and last guaranteed year of his current $117 million, four-year contract if the Knicks do not extend him this summer. Upon turning 32 years old in 2025–26, he will have a $32 million player option. His body has undergone three major surgeries since he joined the NBA.

Forbes reports that if he chooses to forego his $32 million player option and returns healthy for the upcoming season, he could be qualified for a five-year contract worth over $300 million in free agency.

The Knicks are going to be taking a big risk on a 32-year-old power player whose body will start to deteriorate.

Though Younger, Mikal Bridges Fits the Knicks Timeline
Bridges has a contract that benefits the team and is two years younger than Randle. When Bridges’ current $90 million, four-year contract expires following the 2025–2026 season, he will just be 29 years old.
Additionally, Bridges already has a championship background and synergy with Hart, DiVincenzo, and Brunson.

New York Knicks Star Jalen Brunson Takes Leadership Role 'Very Seriously' - Sports Illustrated New York Knicks News, Analysis and More

“Those three guys are so special together, and they’ve talked about how you win a title like that,” Simmons remarked to a Knicks fan. And depending on where you are, like in high school or [expletive] college, the chemistry and connection there are just totally different. Those three guys have mutual respect and trust for one another. That is truly fantastic.

It’s also a big part of the reason why watching the Knicks on TV has become essential.

Simmons went on, “It’s entertaining to watch Brunson, but it’s also incredibly entertaining to watch those three guys. Brunson is kicking out to DiVincenzo by simply moving to this spot in the corner without even having to look over.” “He only has a clear idea of his specific location. How amazing and fantastic would it be to include Bridges there? It resembles the fourth man who shares those guys’ viewpoints. Thus, if I were the Knicks, that would be my goal. “How do we add Bridges to this?” is how it seems.

Nevertheless, cap-wise, Simmon’s three-team swap is ineffective. The Nets were forced to increase payroll. In order to replace Young, veteran point guard Dennis Schroder would be happy to return to Atlanta.
