ESPN news: Trent Noah want to hang up with Travis Perry.
The boys from Kentucky are ecstatic to be collaborating at the collegiate level.
The men’s basketball program at Kentucky Wildcats has experienced major transformation in the past several months. Following the announcement that longtime head coach John Calipari would be leaving for Arkansas, the Cats lost a number of players to the transfer portal in addition to a large number of recruits.
Mark Pope, who recently arrived from BYU, was given the task of finishing it out, and he is beginning to add depth to the team. Keeping 4-star prospect Travis Perry, who committed when Calipari was still in town after guiding Lyon County to a Kentucky Sweet 16 Championship, was a major component of that.
Trent Noah of Harlan County was about to leave before deciding to reopen his recruiting and choose Pope’s Wildcats. Now, Noah wants to work with Perry to win the Bluegrass state another championship.
We had the opportunity to play against one another in the state championships this summer, but the good news is that we’re now on the same team and working toward the same objective. That’s why we were discussing. Our goal is to successfully hang number nine. It’s truly fantastic to be on the same team at last. In an interview with KSR, Noah stated, “That’s one of the first people I texted after, and I’m just super excited to get to work with him.”
The Cats will have a number of important transfer players on their roster.
This team should be led by players like Andrew Carr, Koby Brea, Lamont Butler, and others, but freshmen like Noah and Perry might be a big asset, especially after watching what four-star recruit Reed Sheppard accomplished the previous season.
Although Noah has high standards for himself and others, this is how things should be.

Sunday Headlines: NBA Playoffs Are PJ Washington’s Year
His contribution to their two-game winning streak has been enormous.
Currently, Kentucky boasts the largest number of former players in the NBA, with 28 former Wildcats playing in some capacity during the previous regular season. Several of those players have had some success in the NBA Playoffs this season.
It has been an amazing playoffs for PJ Washington and the Dallas Mavericks, and the 25-year-old has had an even better couple games lately.
In the Western Conference Semi-Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder and former Wildcat Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will play the Washington Mavericks. Washington has played a crucial role in his team’s two-game winning streak to take back control of the series after trailing 0-1 at one point.
In the team’s two victories, he has scored 29 and 27 points while shooting a combined 22-41 from the field and, crucially, 12–23 from beyond the arc. In his last two games, he has averaged over eight rebounds, demonstrating that his presence is noticed inside as well.
With All-NBA guards Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic in Dallas’ backcourt, Washington will always have opportunities for open looks. As long as he can maintain his three-point shooting and effective play around the rim, Dallas will have a valuable third option for scoring.
Washington started the season at Charlotte, the same team that had initially selected him out of Kentucky with the 12th overall pick. They traded him to Dallas after he spent four and a half years with the organization. There, he has had the chance to play with some of the greatest setup guards in the game, which has contributed to his recent rise. This trend is probably going to continue as the Mavericks try to defeat the Thunder and move on to the Western Conference Finals.
