Norwich and Ipswich square off over a young Scottish talent.

Ipswich Town and Celtic are expected to compete with the Canaries for the 17-year-old midfield player Aiden McGinlay, according to the Daily Record.

Due to his performances in the youth teams of Queen’s Park, his current club in the Scottish Championship, the Scotland U17 has gained notice.

He came from Partick Thistle, a Scottish Championship team, at the same time he finished a two-week trial with Ipswich, so Norwich will have their work cut out luring him away from the Premier League team he already knows.

Adam Idah will permanently switch to Celtics

It has come to light that Adam Idah, a striker, has been on loan from Norwich to Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic since January.

According to Football Insider, Celtic has expressed interest in signing the forward permanently after he scored seven goals and added two assists during his time spent north of the border.

The 23-year-old is thought to be worth £5 million, which would enable a move; however, it is unclear if Celtic will accept this amount or if they will try to negotiate a lower asking price.

The club would receive a significant financial boost and have more money to improve their roster over the summer if the Canaries are able to secure their desired price.

Norwich compare and contrast Chris Willock’s departure

Chris Willock, a midfielder for Queens Park Rangers, has a summer contract that is about to expire at Loftus Road, and there has been no discussion or agreement on new terms.

Through his Patreon page, journalist Alan Nixon disclosed that Norwich is considering a move for the winger and will look to sign him regardless of the division they are in when the new season begins.

In 39 games, he has assisted on four goals and scored four himself, making a significant contribution to the struggling Hoops’ second-tier survival this season.

Although his departure would leave a significant void for QPR, it would seem like a large ask to keep him in the team for what looks to be another arduous Championship season, during which he might be vying for promotion or perhaps facing off against Norwich in the Premier League.
