ESPN report: Texans QB CJ Stroud spreading american football around the globe

The standout quarterback for the Texans is introducing American football to other markets.

Since football is the most popular sport in the country, the NFL is the most well-known and well-liked league. However, compared to other sports, the game and league haven’t taken off as much worldwide. Sending two-star athletes to spread the sport to different cultures is the best way to achieve it.

That’s exactly what two well-known NFL players did. On Wednesday morning in Beijing, China, superstar linebacker Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys and quarterback CJ Stroud of the Houston Texans attended a camp for children aged eight to eighteen.

Stroud and Parsons led the camp, which took place at Beijing’s Dongfeng International Sports Park in Chaoyang. In addition to playing football during the camp, participants also received a picture with the two young stars and some official NFL-branded merchandise.

This offseason, the two players have been matched with each other a few occasions. They played each other in the NBA Celebrity All-Star game in February. On a Bleacher Report 2024 NFL Draft broadcast, the two discussed the rivalry between the Texans and Cowboys. During some lighthearted repartee, they also discussed the NFC East.

Parsons stated, “Last year, we were probably the best football division on paper.” “Everyone was a team in the playoffs.”

When Stroud hears such, he will naturally bat first for his team and division.

Stroud retorted, “No, sir. The AFC North was the best division in football.” Washington wasn’t insignificant. What are you talking about, brother? The only person on Earth who didn’t believe the NFC East was superior to the AFC North was Micah Parsons.

Adam Lefkoe of Bleacher Report started the question, posing as to which Texas NFL club was the best. Naturally, the two stars had different responses.

Stroud remarked, “I like that you’re trying to create some beef.” “You know what, I think Micah knows who it is, or at least feels like he does. However, the field is where all of this must be resolved.

As Parsons attempts to get a hold of Stroud in the backfield, the Texans will visit Arlington to play the Cowboys on the road the next season, providing the two teams a chance to determine who is the best team in Texas. The two competing against each other in separate competitions throughout the offseason just heats things up.
