Steelers made a clear stance on Courtland Sutton regarding trade stance
It appears like Courtland Sutton won’t be appearing in any further images.
Lately, the Pittsburgh Steelers have had a lot going on. With both draft picks and free agency additions, the team is ready to start a fresh offensive lineup in September. However, based on the rumors, the team is still seeking to complete a transaction. Right now, every conversation about Pittsburgh is on a possible wideout room acquisition. Although there are other identities at play, Courtland Sutton has been removed from the picture, according to a recent update.
Sutton is one of the athletes who has recently been connected to the Steelers. Nonetheless, a recent tweet from 9NEWS Broncos reporter Mike Klis suggests that the Denver Broncos receiver will probably remain in the Mile High City.
It isn’t the Courtland. “No intentions to trade him,” wrote Klis. “Sutton (is) in good standing, as (George) Paton and (Sean) Payton informed Broncoland in recent weeks.”
Why it’s crucial to secure another wideout
The Steelers will not be adding a receiver who finished the previous season with 772 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns to their roster as Sutton has been ruled out as a trade target. These aren’t very good figures, but they’re still respectable, and Sutton would have been the second-best choice behind George Pickens.
Calvin Austin III and Van Jefferson make up Pickens’ rotation after Diontae Johnson was traded. Quez Watkins and rookie Roman Wilson are then following them. The Steelers’ lack of depth at wideout is likely an issue unless one of the aforementioned rotational players has a tremendous season.
Even if the running game seems to be the focal point of the Steelers’ identity, having a strong passing attack is still essential. With so much skill in the league, even the slightest advantage may have a major impact.
Oh, and the new quarterbacks will undoubtedly benefit from having a weapon in addition to Pickens. Having a competitive receiving area around Russell Wilson and Justin Fields is crucial if the club hopes to get the most out of them. Steelers supporters will have to wait for the time being as there hasn’t been an official trade announcement made.

Analyst is quite pleased with the Steelers’ NFL Draft selections.
Although teams have a good history of selecting players later in the selection (Tom Brady, anyone? ), the majority of NFL selection analysts agree that the first 100 picks represent the real value of any draft.
These are the top 100 players who are expected to join the NFL. These top 100 picks, whether they are first- or third-round picks, typically have the most opportunity to have an immediate effect.
For the Pittsburgh Steelers, at least, this is excellent news because general manager Omar Khan has four chances to select a player in the top 100 of the current draft.
He was successful in selecting wide receiver Roman Wilson (Michigan) at choice No.84, offensive tackle Troy Fautanu (Washington) at pick No.20, center Zach Frazier (West Virginia) at pick No.51, and linebacker Payton Wilson (NC State) at pick No. 98.
Out of the seven selections made by the Steelers, four were in the top 100.
Regarding Khan’s first four selections, “all four were home runs,” according to Dane Brugler of The Athletic. “Linebacker Payton Wilson will pack the stat sheet (if he stays healthy), while Michigan receiver Roman Wilson is a challenging cover due to his quickness. Zach Frazier, the center, was an excellent choice at No. 51 and was a great fit for this squad, so it was also tough to pass him up. However, I have to choose Fautanu, who is ranked eighth overall. He can play guard or tackle, so he’ll be a Band-Aid for the Pittsburgh offensive line.”
Given that Pittsburgh is a notoriously tough team, it is not shocking that Khan selected two offensive linemen with his first and second round selections.
With the addition of guard Mason McCormick from South Dakota State to the roster in the fourth round, Pittsburgh will target the offensive line with three of their first five selections.
“In this draft class, Pittsburgh revamped its offensive line. McCormick will fight for early playing time and provides instant depth in the interior even if he is not a surefire starter, according to Brugler.
